EQUALITY FOR THE HOLIDAYS

When the dust of Black Friday and Cyber Monday settles, our favorite holiday shopping observance comes to pass: Giving Tuesday. This year we are celebrating in partnership with an organization whose mission is closely aligned with our own.

Purchase your Osé today and we’ll donate 5% of proceeds to Girls In Tech.

Girls in Tech is a global non-profit that works to put an end to gender inequality in high-tech industries and startups. Their programs and services focus on capacity development, education, and empowerment. They provide access and resources to girls in their communities with chapters in 33 countries and counting.

Women and girls remain disproportionately impacted by poverty as a direct result of gender bias and gender discrimination. The burden of these impacts are far-reaching and often generational, preventing women from accumulating assets, participating in personal development activities such as advanced education, and limiting their ability to influence public policy and political discourse.

EMPOWERING WOMEN MAKES GOOD CENTS

Numerous studies show that gender parity contributes greatly to economic prosperity. A Mckinsey & Company report posits that $12 trillion could be added to global GDP by 2025, if women’s economic empowerment was prioritized at the local, national, and international policy-making levels.

In addition to economic gains, countries with greater gender parity show reductions in societal costs like crime and health care. They also report increased environmental sustainability and technological innovation.

THE PLEASURE OF GIVING

You can help shift the tide of economic empowerment. Purchase your Osé today and we will donate 5% of proceeds to Girls in Tech Indonesia. With your help, we can send 40 girls to coding camp, providing foundational skill sets and professional training to the next generation of leaders, inventors and changemakers.
