About the role

The Digital Marketing Director is an exciting highly strategic opportunity to work with an established start up to play a key role in pioneering the digital strategy from the ground up. This role reports directly to the CEO & CFO to establish Lora DiCarlo’s entire online presence. As Digital Marketing Director – you will be responsible for owning and developing online strategies across all digital marketing channels from website and social media to digital advertising and paid partnerships. With an eye for ROI and conversion, you’ll have the opportunity to create and guide the evolution of a very new brand while driving a revolution in two industries ripe for disruption - the adult industry and the tech industry.

Candidates will have proven, extensive experience of managing and implementing digital strategies across mobile apps, websites and ecommerce. The Digital Marketing Manager will be digitally curious with the appetite to develop cutting edge marketing solutions that drive revenue. You will have extensive UX experience and strong digital channel skills. People management experience is highly desirable, however not essential.

This position is a full time, in-office, salaried position based in BEND, OREGON.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute digital marketing strategy across all channels to help Lora DiCarlo increase sales, brand awareness, and lead generation in North America and international markets
  • Lead the charge on the refinement/revamp of the current website including mobile optimization and the build-out of ecommerce, and develop continuous improvement to the web and mobile experience
  • Measure and optimize all digital marketing channels (including web, email, paid media, organic search, social, content and more) to acquire a qualified, engaged pipeline of leads and customers and maximize traffic through PPC, SEO, email and affiliates
  • Lead the strategy, management and development of social media strategies all the way through execution
  • Develop and direct content strategy across website, social, and digital advertising with content/social media specialist/resources
  • Establish and manage partnership/influencer strategy across all digital platforms
  • Work closely with PR to be sure there’s brand alignment across PR messaging and digital campaign efforts
  • Research, source, and manage CRM, including full implementation and management of the customer database and data hygiene upon execution.
  • Manage external agency partners to support marketing, ecommerce and data needs, including Amazon Vendor/Seller Central strategy
  • Manage our website, CMS platform, and analytics tools with an eye to driving conversion, monitoring and continually improving our SEO strategy
  • Coordinate with leadership on launch strategy for products, integrations, promotions, and marketing campaigns - with an eye on balancing between B2C and B2B channels
  • Project manage digital strategies on time and on budget with a keen eye on ROI and profitability
  • Manage UX/UI implementation across all digital channels and platforms
  • Select and implement user testing, analytics and marketing technology to drive better performance
  • Work collaboratively across marketing functions to ensure goals are aligned
  • Report on performance and key KPIs such as ROAS, CAC, CRM, CPA as well as make investment recommendations to the leadership team
Ideal Candidate:
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing
  • Experience with managing, developing and growing a team
  • Extensive experience with ecommerce related applications (like Shopify or others) and demonstrated ability to develop website and web shop/ecommerce strategy to profitability
  • Google Analytics and Google Adwords certifications (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven experience managing paid media budgets and channels (SEM, PPC, display, remarketing, paid social)
  • Proven experience optimizing SEO and other onsite marketing tools
  • Experience with optimization and A/B testing
  • Ability to manage front end and back end web development
