Marketing Assistant

Lora DiCarlo is seeking an efficient and organized Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. This position is 40 hours a week and is located in Bend, OR. 

In this position, you will support the work of the marketing department managers and directors on various projects and tasks. Your duties will also include general support for the marketing department and customer service across online platforms, including email and live chat on the Company website. 

The Marketing Coordinator works under the direction of the Chief Marketing Officer and is a member of the Marketing Department which includes supporting departments such as: digital marketing, social media, sales & B2B marketing, logistics/supply chain.


  • Ability to speak and write in the brand voice and tone

  • Ability to maintain tact and professionalism in all conversations

  • Perform customer service ensuring positive resolutions of questions and satisfied customers

  • Manage live chat channel on company website ensuring high quality customer service with an emphasis on driving product conversions and creating customer-advocates. 

  • Manage incoming customer emails ensuring positive resolutions to issues and timely information exchange

  • Project management of projects that would be assigned

  • Assist with managing workflows and deliverables for marketing campaigns, ensuring on-time completion

  • Assist members of the marketing department with daily and weekly task execution including

    • Shipping, tracking and receiving promotional items, merchandise and partner giveaway products

    • Researching new platforms, vendors and marketing opportunities

    • Event assistance 

    • Note taking in meetings

    • Research

  • Respond to marketing queries via phone, email or social media

  • Keep abreast of industry trends and compelling marketing campaigns

  • Proficient in Google Suite Apps 

  • Excellent written communication skills with emphasis on proofreading and grammar

  • Ability to identify potential negative or crisis situations and mitigate and resolve conflict

  • Good understanding of office management and marketing principles

  • Well-organized with a customer-oriented approach

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
